Jackson became interested in politics at an early age.   Jackson has had a strong interest in both local and national politics since the age of 2 months.  “He always starts smiling and kicking his cute little legs when his dad talks about politics,” said Jackson's mother, Krista. Now, while other 13-month-olds are content with napping, Jackson is more likely to rip through the newspaper to stay up-to-date on current events.  

A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Jackson comes from humble roots. Born to civically-minded parents (one, a public employee; the other, a small business owner), Jackson has a strong work ethic and desire to help others. While Jackson momentarily considered a career as an astronaut, a teacher, or even a fireman, he settled on wanting to become President.  Why? Because this is the best way to bring attention to issues that the mainstream press refuses to cover, such as the Fair Elections Now Act (and what 13-month-old doesn’t know that one front-to-back? It’s as fundamental as drinking milk).  Jackson believes that it is time that we take our democracy back from the special interests that dominate Washington politics.
